Objective:Through the clinical research to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy with the method of loosing the cervical arthrosis for the numb symptoms, to propose some methods to cure the numb symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and point out the effective massage method for clinical application. Methods:Using random grouping principle, the clinical trials are conducted to observe the cases’ change of the patients’ upper limbs’numb symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Sixty cases were allocated equally to two groups:the group of treatment with conventional massotherapy, the group of treatment with loosing the cervical arthrosis. Results:There is marked diversity in observational index of two group before and after treatment(P<0.05).It has a statistical significance, and it shows that the group of treatment with loosing the cervical arthrosis is preferable to the group of treatment with conventional massotherapy. Conclusion:The method of loosing the cervical arthrosis and conventional massotherapy both can ameliorate the numb symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy significantly, but the method of loosing the cervical arthrosis is more preferable than the method of conventional massotherapy,so it will be suitable for clinical application. It’s mechanism of action is adjusting the structure of the cervical spine osseous joints by massage technique, restoring the inside and outside mechanical balance of the cervical spine joint, relieving muscle spasm. Consequently it reduces the stimulation or oppression in the cervical nerve root, ameliorates the numb symptoms of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and finally achieves clinical therapeutic effect.
