Objective:Objective evaluation on the therapeutic effect of Tiao he yin to the estrogen of premenopausal breast-cancer patients who take tamoxifen.Method:60premenopausal patients with breast-cancer were stochastically divided into the therapeutic group and the control group.30patients in therapeutic group took Tiao he yin orally based on the endocrine therapy of tamoxifen, taking Tiao he yin15days,15days off. Begin to take it at5th day after menstrual over. other30patients in control group adopt the endocrine therapy of tamoxifen only.1month is a course of treatment. Observe the two groups about clinical symptoms and estrogen before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, a significant difference was found in clinical symptoms after treatment in therapeutic group(P<0.01), The total effective rate was90.00%. And estrogen did not change significantly in the therapeutic group after treatment. It proves that Tiao he yin can not interfere the therapeutic effects of the endocrine therapy with tamoxifen. but can obviously improve clinical symptoms of quasi-perimenopause syndrome, which were caused by the endocrine therapy that premenopausal breast-cancer patients received. And karnofsky performance score (KPS) of the therapeutic group after treatment was significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.01).which shows that Tiao he yin can distinctly enhance the quality of those patients’lives. Conclusion:Tiao he yin has a good effect on the side-effect of endocrine therapy that premenopausal breast-cancer patients received. In the same time.it has no significant effect on the estrogen levels. It shows the important value in clinical applications.
