Objective:To investigate the role of IL-18and MCP-1of OSAS by analysis of the change of IL-18and MCP-1level in serum of OSAS in patients.Methods:choose56patients with OSAS from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and25health men, separately as experimental group and control group. And respectively measure the change of IL-18and MCP-1level in serum in patients of experimental group before and after the operation as well as in the control group and other situations (Apnea-hyperpnea index, the lowest oxygen saturation of arterial blood, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, pulse pressure)Results:(1) the pulse pressure of OSAS patients is apparently higher than that in control group. The more the severe degree of OSAS is, the higher the pulse pressure is. The increase of the pulse pressure is closely related with that of IL-18and MCP-1level.(2) The IL-18and MCP-1level in serum in OSAS patients is far above the health men. What’s more, the severe degree of OSAS is closely related with IL-18and MCP-1level. At the same time, there is a linear relation between IL-18and MCP-1.(3) The contents of IL-18and MCP-1in serum of patients with OSAS checked postoperatively turned apparently compared with the preoperative results.Conclusion:(1) The cardiovascular risk in patients with OSAS is apparently higher than normal people. Moreover, with the further the severe degree of OSAS, the bigger the risk of the cardiovascular, this may be closely connected with the increase of IL-18and MCP-1level in serum.(2) IL-18and MCP-1level in serum is closely correlated with pathogenesis of OSAS, which also immediately reflected the severe degree of OSAS.
