Objective:According to overnight polysomnography (PSG) and body measurements, it can deduction the regression equation of best pressure that we use the treatment of continuous positive airway pressure (n-CPAP) to heal obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAHS) and investigate relevant factors that the patients of OSAHS process n-CPAP treatment through nasal cavity. Methods:Acorrding to testing by Polysomnography,we diagnosed 139 cases of OSAHS patients. We determined pressure of n-CPAP by automatic continuous positive airway pressure device that was made in Australia Ruisi Mai (Auto-Set CPAP) (95% confidence limits). Through the Multiple regression, we calculate the relevance btween the n-CPAP pressure level with age, sex, height, weight, body mass index, neck circumference, chest, waist circumference, blood pressure, hypopharyngeal cavity area, an area of the nasopharynx, oropharynx cavity area, the longest apnea timelongest hypopnea time, apnea index, lowest oxygen saturation, non-rapid eye movement sleep (NREM) (â… ,â…¡, period,â…¢period,â…£stage) time the percentage of total sleep time.Results:N-CPAP pressure is positive correlation with waist circumf erence, respiratory disturbance index (AHI),the longest apnea time (LAT).The more severe pathogenetic condition, the larger waist circumference, the longer time of breathing holding, the higher pressure of n-CPAP will be required.Conclusion:AHI,LSaO2, waist circum-ference,LAT and other four index were statistically significance with pressure titration, and to which the waist circumference (WC),AHI and LAT have the greatest significance. In clinical, according to the WC,AHI,LAT,we can determine the appro-priate Ppred quickly:Ppred=2.878+0.035 (AHI)+0.035 (LAT)+0.034 (WC).
