ObjectiveThis paper aims to study the new health care system reformimplementation status from the patients’ perspectives, and the satisfaction ofthe patients on the new health care system reform. By using basicinformation of patients and analyzing the influence factors of patientsatisfaction, this paper identifies effective methods to improve patientsatisfaction, and provides a reference so as to better carry out the new healthcare system reform.Methods1. Data: literature material and the field survey data.2. Survey methods: Used stratified random sampling method.5districtsof primary health care institutions in Chongqing were chosen.600patientswere surveyed by questionnaires in different primary health care institutions,out of which585questionnaires were valid.3. Research methods: Studied by documentary research, questionnairesand statistical methods, statistical analysis, including chi-square test, logisticregression analysis. Results1.71.8%of the patients were satisfied with the new health care systemreform currently. Satisfaction on the grass-roots health care services systemwas relatively high (75.6%), but satisfaction on the basic public healthservices was relatively low (67.9%).2.62.6%of respondents were aware of the new health care systemreform, but they do not know its specific content,23.8%of the respondentswere not aware of the ongoing health care system reform;95%ofrespondents believed that the new health care system reform has broughttangible benefits;59.8%of respondents believed the new health care systemreform, doctor-patient relationship.3. The influence factors of the patient satisfaction on the basic medicalsecurity system are: times of reimbursement, Personal level of funding,proportion of reimbursement and convenience of reimbursement (P<0.05).4. The influence factors of the patient satisfaction on the nationalessential medicines system are: reduced drugs fee, whether the essentialdrugs meet patients’ demands, effectiveness of basic drugs treatment andessential medicines from the retail pharmacy can meet patients’ demand(P<0.05).5. The influence factors of the patient satisfaction on the grass-rootshealth care services system are: health education, health-care workers’technical, medical staff service attitude, waiting time, treatment environmentand health service prices (P<0.05). 6. The influence factors of the patient satisfaction on the basic publichealth service are: the establishment of health records and access to healtheducation (P<0.05).SuggestionsThrough the implementation of the health care system reforms,patients’ satisfaction on the new health care system improved in non-mainurban areas in the city of Chongqing, but still inadequate, the followingrecommendations are made:1. The basic medical security system: to take all kinds of measures toimprove the actual reimbursement ratio; to set reasonable personal financingstandards; to simplify the distant settlement procedures.2. The national essential medicines system: to add directory of essentialdrugs to meet patients medication needs; to strengthen the training of doctorsand guide the rational use of medicines.3. The grass-roots health care services system: to improve diagnosisand treatment skills; to optimize service quality; to set reasonable price forhealth services; to strengthen hardware facilities.4. The basic public health services: to perfect health records; to enrichhealth education content.
