Objective: use immunosuppressive agent Tripterygium Glycosides withultrasound physiotherapy treatment to treat the refractory chronicprostatitis, explore the changes of IFN-γ and IL-10in liquorprostaticusthis of refractory chronic prostatitis after this treatmentprotocols, assess the clinical efficacy of this treatment on the type IIIBchronic prostatitis.Methods:74patients with refractory chronic prostatitis are given to theTripterygium Glycosides with ultrasound physiotherapy treatment for onemonth and11normal controls, to collect0.5to1ml liquor prostaticusbefore and after the treatment by digital rectal examination, some is used todo routine examination, and the rest is saved in freezer at-20℃. Usingradioimmunoassay(RIA) to detect the IFN-γ and IL-10in the liquorprostaticus, meanwhile recording the symptoms, signs, NIH-CPSI scores and the NIH-CPSI pain scores. Using the SPSS12.0statistics software toanalyse the data, Student’s t test analyses the results, significant differencesbetween the two groups(P<0.05).Results: In the observation group of68patients, IFN-γ levels in thepatients’ liquor prostaticus before and after the treatment are46.58±18.25、30.73±9.92(P﹤0.05), IL-10are194.41±59.26、93.71±34.24(P﹤0.01). IFN-γ and IL-10levels In the control group of11patients are11.04±4.28and84.12±31.04. There is significantdifference between the two groups (P <0.05). the NIH-CPSI scores beforeand after the treatment are23.81±4.98、9.37±4.02(P﹤0.05), theNIH-CPSI pain scores are15.75±5.53、4.48±1.74(P﹤0.01).Conclusion: Tripterygium Glycosides with ultrasound physiotherapytreatment can significantly improved clinical pain symptoms, canobviously reduce the level of IFN-γ and IL-10in the patients’ liquorprostaticus, possibly the Tripterygium Glycosides with ultrasoundphysiotherapy treatment can change the cytokines in liquor prostaticus byaffecting the immune system of patients, then play a therapeutic role.
