Expression And Significance Of Apoptosis Related Gene Protein Bcl-x_L And Bad In Retinoblastoma

Purpose: To investigate the expression of Bcl-xLand Bad in retinoblastoma(RB) andnormal retina,and to research the significance of the two factors.Methods: We used immunohistochemical method(SP) to measure the expression ofBcl-xLand Bad in42cases of RB(experimental group) and15cases of normalretina tissue(control group),combined with clinicopathological data to analyze therelationship of the two factors and RB.All data were applied to SPSS for windows17.0sofeware for statistical analysis.Result: Bcl-xLpositive expression rate in experimental group was64.29%which washigher than that of the control group26.67%.Bcl-xLpositive expression rate indifferent clinical types:intra ocular growth stage20%,glaucoma stage:66.67%,extraocular stage:88.24%,the difference was statistically significant,the positive expressionrate of Bcl-xLin different stages was positively correlated.Bcl-xLpositive expressionrate in different tissue types: undifferentiated type80%,differentiated type41.18%,Bcl-xLpositive expression rate in undifferentiated type was higher than thatof differentiated type.Bcl-xLpositive expression rate in different infiltrationdepth:optical nerve infiltration group78.57%,optical nerve was not infiltrationgroup35.71%,Bcl-xLpositive expression rate in optical nerve infiltration group washigher than that of optical nerve was not infiltration group.Bad positive expression rate in experimental group was26.19%which was lowerthan that of the control group60%.Bad positive expression rate in different clinicaltypes:intra ocular growth stage70%,glaucoma stage:20%,extra ocular stage:5.88%,thedifference was statistically significant,the positive expression rate of Bad in differentstages was negatively correlated.Bad positive expression rate in different tissue types:undifferentiated type8%,differentiated type52.94%,Bad positive expression rate inundifferentiated type was lower than that of differentiated type.Bad positiveexpression rate in different infiltration depth:optical nerve infiltrationgroup14.29%,optical nerve was not infiltration group50%,Bad positive expressionrate in optical nerve infiltration group was lower than that of optical nerve was not infiltration group.Conclusion:1.The abnormal expression of Bcl-xLhad a relationship with RB.Theexpression of Bcl-xLwas positively correlated with the degree of RB.2.The abnormal expression of Bad had a relationship with RB.Theexpression of Bcl-xLwas negatively correlated with the degree of RB.3.The two factors may provide a new way for the treatment of RB.
