The Clinical Research Of Treatment Of The Method Of Regulating Ying And Yang In Side Effects Caused By Breast Cancer Patients Oraling Tamoxifen

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of regulating Ying and Yang herbal therapy for the treatment of Tamoxifen side effects in breast cancer patients,and explore the mechanism of regulating Ying and Yang herbal from the theory and clinical research.Method:80breast cancer patients matched with the inclusion criteria were allocated into two groups:The treatment group40cases,using as the method of regulating Ying and Yang herbal; the control group40cases,were given follow-up observation.Then,The therapeutical effects were evaluated two months after the administration of treatment.Two groups were compared of kuppermann symptom rate and quantity of life improvement,and changes in hematology,liver and kidney function and lipid levels laboratory parameters.Results:At the end of treatment,there were40valid cases in treating group which can be calculated,and40in control group.The results showed that:①Kuppermann symptom raterAfter treatment,in the treatment group the kuppermann symptom rate was obviously lower than before,clinical symptoms improved markedly,which cure in15cases markedly effective in15cases;effective20cases;ineffective0case,the total effective rate was100%,whereas in the control group the rate was not improved,after treatment without statistical significance(P>0.05).The therapy of TCM herbal showed good clinical results.②Karaofsky performance score:After the intervention of TCM herbal,quality of life in the treatment group improved27cases and stable13cases.The KPS rate in treatment group improved obviously than before,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). However,in the control group there was no statistically significant change(P>0.05),indicating that the herbal can improve the quality of life for the patients.③Elood lipid levels:In treating group,there were no obvious change in high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein and total cholesterol between pre-treatment and after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),but triglycerides was obviously lower than before(P<0.01).In the control group,laboratory parameters was no statistically significant change between pre-treatment and after treatmcnt(P>0.05).The study indicated that the method of regulating Ying and Yang herbal can significantly reduce triglyceride level,the herbal can effectively reduce the lipid metabolism disorders csused by tamoxifen endocrine therapy.④Toxic and adverse effect:In treating group,there were no obvious change in hematology,hepatic and renal function between pre-treatment and after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),which indicated that the herbal had no impairment on hematopoietic system,liver,kidney and etc.Conclusions:the method of regulating Ying and Yang TCM herbal therapy is effective to relieve Tamoxifen induced breast cancer associated with perimenopausal syndrome,like hot flush,perspiration,insomnia,excitement,depression,fatigue,palpitation,headsche skeletal muscle routong,dizziness and other perimenopausal symptoms. This therapy also can improve the quality of life and significantly reduce triglyceride level,the herbal can effectively reduce the lipid metabolism disorders csused by tamoxifen endocrine therapy. And it has no toxic and adverse effect.The method of regulating Ying and Yang TCM herbal open up a new option for drug treatment in brest cancer.But furth large-sample and longer duration studies are required.
