Influenza is a commonly clinical disease, and the study on influenza virus is a hot issue in recent years. The department of theory was illustrated with the Western and Eastern point of view to the influenza, including influenza virus pathogenesis, immune response, clinical manifestations, as well as the dialecties, medication of traditional Chinese medicine one by one.The department of experiments as follows:Object: By a number of experiments which were designed to confirm the anti-influenza virus effect and the immune regulation of Qingshujiebiao Decoction, to provide clinical application with experiment evidence.Methods: Select the mouse lung-adapted Influenza virus strain A/FM/1/47(H1N1) commonly used in the experiment in abroad. The model of mice infected by influenza virus FM1were treated with high, middle and low doses of Qingshujiebiao decoction and Ribavirin, using the blank group as control. To observe the pathological changes of lung tissue, calculate the lung, thymus and spleen index, measure the level of interferon gamma (IFN-γ) and interleukin-6(IL-6), the function of abdominal macrophage, and the expression of nitric oxide (NO), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in lung tissue. In vitro experiment, using three inoculation mode such as direct, indirect, and prevention in chick embryo, to evaluate the inhibitory effect of Qingshujiebiao Decoction on influenza virus FM1through the hemagglutination titer.Results:The experiments in vivo of mice confirmed that influenza virus is pathogenic factor in causing lung lesions. The injury manifested in pathological inflammatory changes of the lung tissue, the increased lung index, the decreased thymus index, the low level of IFN-γ, the high level of IL-6, the dysfunction of the abdominal macrophage, the increased NO and MDA level, and the decreased SOD level. Under the treatment intervention of traditional Chinese medicine, compared with the model group, the Qingshujiebiao Decoction can relieve the lung disease, decrease the lung index, increase the thymus index and the level of IFN-γ, reduce the IL-6levels in serum, enhance the function of abdominal macrophage, reduce the content of NO and MDA in lung tissue, and increase the SOD content. In the experiments in vitro of chick embryo, the Qingshujiebiao decoction can significantly reduce the hemagglutination titer, and have good effect on inhibiting the proliferation of influenza virus.Conclusion:Qingshujiebiao decoction have some protective effect on organism through enhancing non-specific immune function, regulating the secretion of interferon and cytokines, inhibiting the oxidative stress reaction, thus effectively relieve the inflammation of the lung tissue, and have the good effect of anti-influenza virus and immune regulation, provide a strong basis for clinical application.
