Objective:To evaluate the distribution and expression level of RSL1D1in prostate cancer tissues group and benign pro static hyperplasia tissues group, and to research its clinical significance.Methords:1.Observation of RSL1D1protein experssion in prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues by immunohistochemistry and analyze statistically.2.Observation of RSL1D1mRNA experssion in prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues by real-time quantitative PCR and analyze statistically.3.Analyze the relation between the expression of RSL1D1protein and clinicopathologic parameters.Results:1.Immunohistochemistry showed that in the prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues, the expression of RSL1D1protein in prostate cancer tissues was much more higher than the benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues (P<0.01). RSL1D1protein expression in prostate cancer in age, tumor stage, seminal vesicle invasion and surgical margin had no significant different (P>0.05);but cancer in serum PSA, Gleason score, lymph node, vascular invasion and perineural invasion, the expression of RSL1D1protein showed significant difference (P<0.05).2.Real-time quantitative PCR showed that the quantity of RSL1D1mRNA in cancer tissues was higher than the benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues (P<0.01). RSL1D1mRNA expression in prostate in age, tumor stage, seminal vesicle invasion and surgical margin had no significant different (P>0.05); but cancer in serum PSA, Gleason score, lymph node, vascular invasion and perineural invasion the expression of RSL1D1mRNA showed significant difference (P<0.05).3. RSL1D1protein expression was no significant association in different group of age, tumor stage, seminal vesicle invasion and surgical margin,while it was significant associated with serum PSA, Gleason score, lymph node, vascular invasion and perineural invasion. Conclusions:1.The expression level of RSL1D1protein and RSL1D1mRNA in prostate cancer tissues were significantly raised than the benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues, suggested RSL1D1gene might be involved in the formation of prostate cancer. Taking effective control measures may have better results in the cancer prevention and control.2. The expression level of RSL1D1protein and RSL1D1mRNA had significant difference in different serum PSA, Gleason score, vascular invasion, perineural invasion and lymph node. It suggested that RSL1D1gene may play an important role in the development, invasion metastasis of prostate cancer. If we have an effective intervention in the stage of cancer progression, we can expect a better treatment effect. RSL1D1may be significant for diagnosis,condition assessment, treatment effect evaluating and prognosis guiding of prostate cancer.
