ObjectiveThe study aims to assess the inhibition of S.mutans by S.oligofermentans grown under the influence of surcose and fluorine concentration environments,as well as the ability of S. oligofermentans to produce H2O2under these conditions.Methods1. To investigate the interaction between So and Sm under the influence of surcose concentration environment.(1) To determine the Twenty-four hour growth curve of So and Sm in culture.(2) To observe the interspecies interaction assays between So and Sm under the different sucrose concentration by plating method.2.To measure the producibility of H2O2by So under the influence of surcose concentration environment.(1) To establish the standard curve of H2O2by4-ATTP-HRP.(2) To determine the initial synthesis rates of H2O2by So by4-ATTP-HRP.(3) To determine the production of H2O2by So by4-ATTP-HRP.3.To investigate the producibility of H2O2by So under the influence of fluorine concentration environments.(1) To determine the twenty-four hour growth curve of So.(2) To determine the initial synthesis rates of H2O2by So by4-ATTP-HRP.(3) To determine the production of H2O2by So were by4-ATTP-HRP.Results1.To investigate the interaction between So and Sm under the influence of surcose concentration environment.(l)So and Sm both grown well under the certain sucrose concentration environments.but not well under the500and1000mmol/L(2)When both So and Sm were inoculated simultaneously and So was cultivated first Sm was not inhibited under the500and1000mmol/L but under other sucrose environments, the inhibition of So on Sm was evident.(3)When So was cultivated first, the inhibition areas of Sm were much more than that when the two Streptococcus species inoculated simultaneously(4)When Sm was cultivated first So was unable to proliferate2To measure the producibility of hydrogen peroxide by So under the influence of surcose concentration environment.(1) The standard curve for H2O2Y=273.089X-59.879.(r2=0.996)(2)The Initial synthesis rate of H2O2by So:0mmol/L was (14.299±0.176) μmol/L·min,50mmol/L (22.743±0.444) μmol/L min,1000mmol/L was(10.519±0.367) μmol/L·min.3.To investigate the producibility of hydrogen peroxide by So under the influence of fluorine concentration environment.(1)So and Sm both grown well under the certain fluorine concentration environment.but not well under10and50mmol/L conditions.(2)There was no statistical difference between these fluorine conditions the initial synthesis rate of H2O2by So.But, not detected under the10and50mmol/L.(3)There was no statistical difference between these fluorine conditions the production of H202by So.But, not detected under the10and50mmol/L.Conclusions1.Different sucrose concentration environments influence the inhibition by So on Sm and the the ability of So to produce H2O2.2.Under different sucrose concentration environments, the inhibition of Sm by So is mainly due to its H2O2production3.Different fluorine concentration environments influence the inhibition by So on Sm and the the ability of So to produce H2O2...
