Then a case-control study wasmade between the children with asthma and that without asthma to findout the risk factors to children asthma.Results:370cases of asthma with the prevalence2.70%were foundout;227male and143female cases with the prevalence3.18%and2.18%respectiely were found out (P<0.01);248Han people and100Zhuang people cases with the prevalence2.72%and2.66%respectielywere found out (P>0.05); Prevalence was highest at the age of5year-old.75.14%of the cases had the first experience of wheeze under4year-old;Acute exacerbation could be triggered by respiratory tract infectionamong93.51%of the cases, mainly occurred at an uncertain time ormidnight and more common during seasons changing or on uncertain seasons; Sneezing, running nose and nasal congestion were the commonprodrome of acute exacerbation, while cough and wheeze were thecommon presentation of acute exacerbation; The developing of acuteexacerbation was mainly in a gradual or uncertain pattern;98.38%of thecases usually presented a mild or moderate pattern of acute exacerbation;74.32%of the cases had used ICS and10.27%of the cases had usedsystemic glucocorticosteroids only without using ICS;56.22%of thecases also suffered from allergic rhinitis; Paternal smoking during theprenatal or postnatal time, cesarean section and infant antibiotics use werefound to be significantly associated with the prevalence of childrenasthma using Brinary logistic regression. Conclusions: In our survey, the children asthma prevalence was2.70%; Prevalence was highest at the age of5year-old and higher in malethan that in female, however no difference was found in the prevalencebetween the Han and Zhuang people; Paternal smoking during theprenatal or postnatal time, cesarean section and infant antibiotics use werethe risk factors to children asthma.
