Clinical Retrospective Analysis Of Functional Pituitary Microadenoma（30Casts Report）

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the clinical characteristics, laboratory,imaging examination，treatment measures and misdiagnosed reasons ofpituitary microadenoma for improve the cognition of clinical medicine.METHODS: Collect30cases of pituitary microadenoma patientsfrom guangxi medical university first affiliated hospital from November2002to October2011hospital to retrospectively analyzed. Summary andanalysis the clinical manifestations, endocrine inspection, imagingexamination, pathology and immunohistochemical results, the selectionof treatment and the treatment effect, analyzes the prognosis and theaffect factors, and summarize misdiagnosed reasons.RESULETS: This group of patients with pituitary microadenoma30cases,8cases of men,22cases of women, the minimum age6years old,the age40largest, the longest duration for20years, the shortest for fourmonth. Clinical symptoms mainly women amenorrhoea infertility, malehypogonadism, the library hin disease such as hormones secretion ofabnormal performance and ision loss, urine collapse sickness and so on.Misdiagnosed as gynecological disease not value or according to thelong-term treatment of10cases, misdiagnosed as sexual function declinein2,2cases were misdiagnosed as infertility, misdiagnosed as lowgonadotropins hypogonadism disease in1, misdiagnosed as primary hypertension in5patients, and misdiagnosis of diabetes in3,2cases weremisdiagnosed as visual fatigue,3cases were misdiagnosed as urinecollapse disorder，diagnosed as primary cortisol increase of disease in3and diagnosed as acromegaly2cases of not pay attention to not specialtreatment for a long time. The treatment by transsphenoidal surgery in15patients, surgical operation in1case,10cases of drug treatment, Gammaknife treatment4cases.CONCLUSION: pituitary microadenoma is a common pituitarytumor, but because of the symptom diversity, early symptoms was nottypical, it’s easy to be not taken seriously, miss diagnosis,misdiagnosedas other diseases. At present MRI is the most powerful means of thediagnosis of pituitary microadenoma and blood endocrine hormone,immunohistochemical stains are helpful to the diagnosis, but improve thecognition of the disease and enough vigilance is the conditions to choosethe correct check. The main treatment is the transsphenoidal surgical.
