Objective: To Investigate the effects of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) on patientswith poor ovarian reserve in hyperstimulation in assisted reproductive generate with serumfollicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and embryo quality. Methods: A retrospectiveanalysis was performed on40patients receiving IVF/ICSI treatment from November2010to November2011. Patients were divided into two groups according to the pretreatmentwith oral DHEA or not: groupe A receiving oral DHEA75mg/d,and groupe B did notreceiving any pretreatment. Compare the serum FSH values, number of antral follicles andembryo quality. Results: The levels of FSH after treatment in groupe A were decreasedthan before, the number of antral follicles increased than before, the dosage of Gn ingroupe A significantly lower than in groupe B; embryo quality and pregnancy outcomewas no significant difference between two groups. Conclusion: Pretreatment with oralDHEA can reduce the levels of FSH,increase the number of antral follicles, improveovarian function, reduce the dosage of Gn in IVF cycle. |
