Clinical Observation Of Chanfuan Mixture With Desogestrel And Ethinylestradio Tablets Preventing Intrauterine Adhesion After Abortion

Objective:1.Under the guidance of Chinese medicine and modern medicine, looking for a simple, economic, compliance, and effective prevention method for patients to prevent intrauterine adhesion after Abortion.2. Through the clinical trials, Clinical observation of Chanfuan Mixture with Desogestrel and Ethinylestradio Tablets preventing intrauterine adhesion after abortion. It provide a scientific clinical basis to prevent intrauterine adhesion for Integrative Medicine.Methods:1. Select180cases of abortion patients in May2010to February2011in our hospital,randomLy divided into two groups:treatment group of100cases,the control group of80patients,were compared between the two groups of cases of abortion postoperative vaginal bleeding and duration of abdominal painmenstrual cycle menstrual tion intrauterine adhesions endometrial thickness variations,etc, and statistical analysis of the differences of two sets of the above indicators.2.Treatment group (100patients) took Desogestrel and Ethinylestradio Tablets (Marvelon:Organon, the Netherlands company, each tablet containing150ug desogestrel.ethinyl estradiol30ug)after abortion,qn,21days;at the same time,add Chanfuan mixture (Angelica, motherwort,peach kernel,safflower,Pao Jiang, licorice),bid,25mL for each time,6days. The control group of80patients,take Desogestrel and Ethinylestradio Tablets after abortion,qn,21days. During treatment time,we observe clinical symptoms of patients five times, follow-up rates were100%. By statistical analysis,to evaluate drug efficacy and safety.Results:1. Compare with conditions after abortion,in the treatment group the amount and duration of vaginal bleeding,abdominal pain is shorter than in the control group,comparative differences between groups are statistically significant (P＜0.05)2. In the treatment group.menstruation,abdominal pain, comparative differences between groups are statistically signify cant (P＜0.05)，menstrual cycle is shorter than the control group, the difference between groups are statistically significant (P＜0.05)3. In control group (80cases).there are five cases occurred intrauterine adhesions,at same time,the treatment group (100cases),there are only one cases occurred intrauterine adhesions, the difference between groups are statistically significant (P＜0.01)4.The two groups can improve endometrial conditions, but the treatment group is better than the control group (P＜0.05).5. Adverse effect:there is no adverse reactions in treatment group,there are four cases of nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness reaction in the the control group. It show that Chanfuan Mixture can reduce adverse reactions of Marvelon.Conclusion:Chanfuan mixture with Desogestrel and Ethinylestradio Tablets can significantly reduce the number of days after surgery bleeding, reduce the amount of vaginal bleeding, relieve abdominal pain after abortion, and recover the menstrual cycle and prevent intrauterine adhesion. it is more effective than simply taking Desogestrel and Ethinylestradio Tablets, it is a effective method to prevent intrau-terine adhesion after Abortion.
