Objective:To research the change of blood lipids and blood glucose in the elderly type2diabetic Patients who taking atorvastatin and pitavastatin, and compare the two drugs’s influence on blood lipids and glucose levels.Eighty elderly patients with type2diabetes in a stable period and meet the inclusion criteria hospitalized in Geriatrics ward in our hospital were recorded from May2011to January2012.90patients were divided into two groups,40cases of the atorvastatin group and40cases of pitavastatin group. To measure glycosylated hemoglobin、 blood lipids before take drugs, at the same time monitoring fasting blood and post prandial5days, the lipid blood sugar requirements the patients have fasting more than8hours,After three months, review these indicators, compare the two drugs’s influence on blood lipids and glucose levels.Results:1.General information comparsion:The atorvastatin group and pitavastatin group had no significant difference (P>0.05)2.Two drugs in patients with total cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein affect a statistically significant (P<0.05), atorvastatin and pitavastatin on high-density lipoprotein statistically significant (P<0.05), The two groups compared pitavastatin superior to atorvastatin increased the role of high density lipoprotein (P<0.05)。 3.Atorvastatin on fasting blood and postprandial blood sugar have no statistically significant (P>0.05), pitavastatin on fasting blood have statistically significant (P<0.05), The two drugs impact on HbA1c have statistically significant (P<0.05), Two groups compared pitavastatin is superior to atorvastatin on reducing fasting blood glucose (P<0.05)。4.Pitavastatin and atorvastatin on daytime blood glucose fluctuations in patients have statistically significant (P<0.05), pitavastatin is superior to atorvastatin on reducing daytime blood glucose fluctuations (P<0.05)。5. HbA1c and LDL-C showing positive correlation (P<0.05)。Conclusion:1. Atorvastatin (20mg) and pitavastatin (2mg) can reduce the Elderly T2DM patient’s TC, TG and LDL-C, pitavastatin reduced LDL-C compared with atorvastatin have no statistically significant, the impact on high density lipoprotein better than atorvastatin, For elderly T2DM patients, take statin therapy may be considered to select pitavastatin。2.Atorvastatin (20mg) and pitavastatin (2mg) both reduce HbA1c, the pitavastatin can reduce fasting blood glucose and daytime blood glucose fluctuations, For elderly T2DM Patients to reduce daytime blood glucose fluctuations, may be considered to select pitavastatin。3. Pitavastatin is security, have fewer adverse reactions, also suitable for elderly patients with type2diabetes。...
