Conclusion: To acupuncture mainly Shen mai, Zhao hai to treat strephenopodia afterapoplexy, we can improve the degree of strephenopodia, the patient’s walking ability anddaily living skills. The efficacy of the two groups have the same efficacy, while thetreatment group are superior to the control group in tendency.Methods:60cases of stroke who met the inclusion criteria were randomly dividedinto treatment and control groups. The treatment group were treated with acupuncturingShen mai, Zhao hai and conventional acupoints; control group, Yang jiao, Zhu bin andconventional acupoints for four weeks. To observe the clinical symptoms improvedconditions of the two groups pre-after treatment in strephenopodia grading, Barthel indexof activities of daily living, walking ability and lower extremities Bunnstromclassification.Results: By statistical analysis, the total significant efficiency in treatment group andcontrol group are76.67%and56.67%respectively. The result through Wilcoxonsigned-rank test indicates that total curative effects of the two groups have no significantdifference(P>0.05). The strephenopodia grading, Barthel index of activities of dailyliving, walking ability and lower extremities Bunnstrom classification of the two groups ofpatients’ pre-after treatment show significant difference (P<0.01); After treatment, thepatient’s strephenopodia classification and the Barthel index of activities of daily living bythe Wilcoxon signed-rank test show significant difference (P<0.05), lower extremityBrunnstrom stage and walking ability have no significant difference (P>0.05) by theWilcoxon signed-rank test.The result indicates these two methods oftreating strephenopodia after apoplexy are valid, but the effect of the treatment group is better. The total efficacy of two groups of patients show no significant difference.But inthe treatment group the cure rate, improvement rate and total effective rate are higher thanthat in the control group,in another word, the treatment group is superior to the controlgroup.Objective: To observe effects of acupuncture mainly Shen mai, Zhao hai to show theimpact of the clinical efficacy of strephenopodia after apoplexy,explore the relevance ofyin and yang Qiao meridian in theory to guide the treatment of strephenopodia afterapoplexia,to provide scientific basis for improving the clinical efficacy and the patient’sability of living with such diseases.
