Objectives Acute chest pain is a common emergency department visits symptoms, theetiology is complex, involving multiple body organs and tissues, disease risk andoutcomes there is a big difference. Rapid and accurate differential diagnosis is theemergency treatment of the difficulty and focus. Investigate the cause of acute chestpain, aim to improve the emergency physician on early diagnosis and differentialdiagnosis level, reduce misdiagnosis and improve the treatment rate.Methods Collected in our hospital with chief complaint of acute chest pain, anddiagnosis of patients with clear medical records of520cases (except for trauma,oncology, physical and chemical factors). Statistics of the cause of the constituentratio of acute chest pain. According to the source of chest pain classification, the set ofdata is divided into cardiac and non cardiac chest pain groups, two groups werecompared in normal circumstances, the nature of chest pain and associated symptomsof the differences, in order to investigate the clinical features of common cause ofchest pain.Results (1)Acute chest pain constituent ratio: Disease up to21species.Cardiogenicdisease in354cases (68.08%), non-cardiac chest pain in116cases (31.92%). Theproportion of patients with acute coronary syndrome in240cases(46.15%).(2)Compared the two groups in general:Two groups of male and female wereno significant difference (P>0.05). Cardiac chest pain group age at onset ofhypertension, diabetes and smoking habits were more common, compared with non-cardiac chest pain group, there were significant differences (P<0.01).(3)Thenature of the two sets of chest pain, associated symptoms: Cardiac chest pain inpatients with chest pain, nature was more performance needle-like, squeezing,radiating pain, and with the sweat, nausea, vomiting (P<0.05). Chest tightness,dyspnea, palpitation in the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion Cause of acute chest pain involves diseases of21kinds.The highproportion of cardiac chest pain, and acute coronary syndrome is the main cause. Oldage, hypertension, diabetes, smoking have correlation with cardiac chest pain, theymay be risk factors for cardiac chest pain. Compared with non-cardiac chest pain, thenature of chest pain for cardiac is more performance needle-like, squeezing oraccompanied by radiating pain; and more easily accompanied by the sweat, nausea,and vomiting. Therefore, for the older, nature of pain is lancinating, squeeze, radiatingpain or accompanied by sweating, nausea, vomiting symptoms, especially those withhypertension, diabetes, smoking habits in patients with chest pain, you should first takeinto account the heart chest pain possible.
