Objective:Through the observation of Compound Danshen Decoction on patients with metabolic syndrome carotid vascular function, discuss its clinical efficacyMethods:60patients met the inclusion criteria of the metabolic syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30cases in each. Two groups of the same basic medication, both oral and intravenous aspirin100mg.with15ml to once a day. Group therapy in western medicine therapy combined with Compound Danshen Decoction, control group in basic medicine plus lipitor. Treatment for4weeks, observe two groups of patients before and after treatment the changes of clinical symptoms, changes in blood lipids. waist circumference and blood glucose changes, carotid artery ultrasound plaque area, carotid artery intima-media thickness (IMT), end diastolic velocity (ECV) and peak systolic blood flow-velocity (PSV) of changes.Results:1. pairs of TCM symptom comparison:the treatment group after treatment, symptom scores have improved P<0.01, with statistical significance; after the treatment, compared with the control group, chest pain, dizziness are represented as P<0.01, with statistical significance, in treatment group than control group; other symptoms improvement compared to P>0.05, have no significant difference.2. Effects on serum lipids:the treatment group after treatment, TG, TC were decreased, HDL-C was increased, with statistical significance (P<0.01); after the treatment, compared with the control group, P>0.05. no statistical significance.3.pairs of waist circumference and blood glucose measurement: the treatment group after treatment,blood glucose and waist circumference values have improved, with statistical significance (P<0.01); after the treatment, compared with control group, P<0.01has statistically significant,treatment group was better the control group4.on vascular function of carotid artery:effect of treatment group after treatment, IMT, ECV, PSV were improved, in different degreees with statistical significance (P<0.01); to improve tthe degres, plaque area of improvement is not significant, P>0.05, not statistically signi ficant. Without statistical significance, no difference.IMT,ECV,PSV are P>0.05.Conclusion:1.Compound Danshen Decoction could obviously improve the phlegm and blood stasis type MS patients with clinical symptoms.2.Com pound Danshen Decoction could obviously improve the phlegm and blood stasis of blood lipid in patients with type MS. TG, TC decreased, HDL-C increased, has the effect of lipid lowering.3.conipound Danshen Decoction can reduce phlegm and blood stasis in patients with type MS waistline value, can reduce blood glue4.Compound Danshen Decoction could improve the phlegm and blood stasis syndrome type MS in patients with carotid artery IMT, ECV, SPV. with improvement in endothelial function.
