Study On The Present Situation Of Medical Representative In China

People often contact the medical representative with pharmaceutical rebates and the artificially high drug prices together,while the role played by medical representative,which was not admirable at all,was the negative influencer of the market economic order.The medical representative occupation’s standardization management was put forward in view of domestic present situation and the development trends of medical representative.However,the standardization of medical representatives will never be so easy due to a lot of existed difficulty, for instance, poor quality of personal and professional, inadequate embodied value of medical services,faulty and opaque drug pricing system,excessive participated and inadequate laws and regulations.We must improve and solve these problems as soon as possible to change the present situation and the future fate of medical representatives and achieve standardization and regulation of the domestic medical representative.In view of the awkward position of medical representative in the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry in China,we analysised the overview of medical representative, investigated the relevant information on the necessary responsibilities and career value of medical representative, based on the above we researched the functions and status quo of the medical representatives, focused on the deep-seated factors that generated by the domestic medical representative’s status quo, specifically presented the strategies to standardize management the medical representative on the future developing path, in order to provide strategic reference for China’s medical representative professionalization and standardization.
