The Diagnostic Value Of Seat Went To Touch Toe With Flexion Neck Test To Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation

Objective:to exploit the diagnostic accuracy of the " neck flexion touching toe" test for L.D.H, and reveal the correlativity between the "neck flexion touching toe " test and L.D.H, compared with the SLR test and the Bragard sing,for offering information to elevate the clinical diagnosis accuracy of L.D.HMethods:180patients with suspected L.D.H had been selected,98were male and82female with the mean age of41.2(range14-58) years. All patients were taken physical examination by the same doctor. All patient were scanned by CT.The result of physical examination,image findings and operating findings were collected and analyzed by SPSS16.0.Logistic Regreesion analysis and bivariate correlations were used to exploit the correlativity between the "neck flexion touching toe " test and age, sex, the progress, the segment,location, and degree of the Lumbar disc herination, furthermore,we compared the diagnostic value of the "neck flexion touching toe"test with that other physical sings.Results:among all the180cases,166were final diagnosed to be L.D.H. The diagnose accordance rate of "neck flexion touching toe " test was91.7%, the sensibility0.938and the specificity0.863, higher than that of SLR and the Bragard sign. The diagnositic odds ratio of the" neck flexion touching toe s’ test was13.580, highest than that of SLR(10.776) and the Bragard sign(9.720). Result showed that there was a significant correlativity between the "neck flexion touching toe "test with the location, the degree of the lumbar disc herniation, and Lateral Recess Stenosis.(P<0.01)Conclusion:The " neck flexion touching toes " test has good accordance rate, sensibility and specificity for diagnosis of L.D.H,and better than the other physical sings.
