Objective:1. To determine the relationship between the incidence of DEACMP(delayed encephalopathy after carbon monoxide poisoning)and the patientsage,coma interval,job (brainwork or manual labour).2. To study the relationship between the clinical manifestation and the sitesMRI involving.Methods: This thesis uses the respective analysis to study all the46DEACMP casescollected in University of South China Affiliated Hospital of Chenzhou from Januarythe first of2005to January the first of2010. It records the patients age,coma interval,job of these cases.It studies the relationship between them and the incidence.It makesan analysis of clinical manifesting and the sites MRI involving to determine therelationship between them.It makes comparisons between the three groups todetermine the influence of HBO treatment to the prognosis.Outcome:1.There are46DEACMP cases.The cases in every age group are1,1,2,4,10,13,15. Patients who are elder than60years old has a propotion32.6%.2.The cases in every coma interval group are0,12,4,8,8,12,12.Patients whosecoma interval is longer than12h has a propotion26.1%.3. There are31cases of brainwork job(67.4%) and15cases of manual labourjob(32.6%). It manifests that the incidence of brainwork job is higher than manuallabour job.It has statistic significance(P<0.01)4.All the46cases in this study made MRI checking up,all abnormal.37casesMRI involved basal ganglia district.There are33,25,8,3cases in every clinicalmanifestation group respectively.36cases MRI involved whiter matter under cortexdistrict.There are33,23,3,4cases in every clinical manifestation group respectively. Statistic outcome are:(1)consciousness and mental disorder:MRI involving basalganglia district and MRI involving whiter matter under cortex district have no statisticsignificance(P>0.05).(2)damage of extrapyramidal system:MRI involving basalganglia district and MRI involving whiter matter under cortex district have statisticsignificance(P<0.05).(3)damage of pyramidal system:MRI involving basal gangliadistrict and MRI involving whiter matter under cortex district have statisticsignificance(P<0.01).(4)focal disfunction of pallium:MRI involving basal gangliadistrict and MRI involving whiter matter under cortex district have statisticsignificance(P<0.01).5.7cases did not got HBO treatment,26cases got HBO≤10times,13cases gotHBO>10times. The NIHSS score of the7cases without HBO treatment had nochange.Amid the26cases with HBO≤10times,0case (0/26,0%) got betterapparently.7cases (7/26,26.9%)got better mildly.11(11/26,42.3%)cases got bettera little.8cases(8/26,30.7%) had no change.Amid the13cases with HBO>10times,2cases(2/13,15.4%)got better apparently,4cases (4/13,30.8%)got better mildly,6(6/13,46.2%)cases got better a little.1case(1/13,7.7%)had no change.The reduceof three groups has statistic significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Incidence has a upward tendency with the age increasing.Incidenceof patients elder than60years old is the highest. Incidence has a upward tendencywith the coma interval increasing.Incidence of coma interval longer than is the highest.Incidence of brainwork job is higher than manual labour job.2. Skull MRI relates with clinical manifesting well.
