Objective:To sum up the clinical characteristics and experience inthe treatment of chronic wounds.Methods:A retrospective analysis of clinical characteristics andtherapies in392patients with chronic wounds were admitted in ourdepartment from January2000to December2010.Results:They are mainly traumatic ulcers (85cases)、pressure ulcers(58cases)、postoperative ulcers (50cases)、diabetes ulcers (48cases)、burnulcers (35cases)、Vascular ulcers (31cases) in the grup;Swab cultures in237cases were taken,205cases were positive,353strains of pathogens inpositive cultures,140strains of gram-positive bacteria,206strains ofgram-negative bacteria, The Main pathogens were Staphylococcusaureus(52), Escherichiac coli (45), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (37),Klebsiellapneumoniae (27)and so on;332patients underwent operations,191Skingrafting,82skin flap,19Skin grafting combining skin flap,40debridingand suturing;365patiens were recovery (49patiens underwentre-operation),25patiens had to leave hospital because economic burden,2 patients with pressure ulcers died of complications.Conclusion: Chronic wounds was mainly affected by severe trauma、infection blood neurotrophic disorder and cell dysfunction, emphasizingon etiological analysis and wound bed preparation, selecting the optimalregimen,appling the Plastic surgery to treat chronic wounds in early stage,to accelerate wound healing.
