Abstract/Summary:
Background: It has been known that uterine papillary serous carcinoma is a highgrade subtypes of type II endometrial cancer, cell differentiation, high incidence ofdeep myometrial invasion, vascular invasion and distant metastasis, the prognosis ispoor. But, the reason for the disease is still unknow. UPSC has a low rate ofpreoperative diagnosis and the treatment is still at the exploratory stage. At home andabroad for the past few years in the UPSC, the diagnosis, treatment, new concepts, methods are reviewed. Objective: The purpose of this study is a review of the literature to sum up thepathogenesis of UPSC, diagnostic markers, diagnosis and treatment in order toimprove the understanding of the disease, improve diagnosis, improve treatment andprognosis. Methods: An application to retrieve the CNKI Articles Full-text Database, Pubmed,Springerlink database retrieval system, endometrial serous papillary carcinoma;molecular biology; diagnosis; treatment; molecular targeted therapy; cytoreductivesurgery for critical words, separately or jointly retrieval2001-01-2011-0964.(2) intothe pathogenesis of the criteria:1)pathogenesis;2) diagnostic markers;3) Thediagnosis and differential diagnosis;4) surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy andmolecular targeted therapy;5) the prognosis analysis. The inclusion criteria, theselection of50documents, and finally included in the analysis of37studies.Results: UPSC is a special type of endometrial cancer, high grade type II endometrial cancersubtypes, compared with normal endometrial carcinoma of UPSC cell differentiation, and prone todeep myometrial invasion, vascular invasion and distant metastasis, the prognosis is poor. The clinical manifestation of UPSC is similar to endometrial adenocarcinoma. Cervical smear test andthe diagnosis of endomembrane have a low rate of diagnosis. B-type ultrasonography has nospecificity. At present, the diagnosis of the early stage is still uncertain. Because of the low rate ofdiagnosis, diagnostic markers can be helpful for the diagnosis. In the treatment of UPSC,usecombined therapy of surgery and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy combination ofcomprehensive treatment for patients is helpful in theory. Postoperative chemotherapy with TPregimen can significantly improve the prognosis of patients; concurrent chemoradiotherapy canbe used for the treatment of advanced UPSC patients with combined chemotherapy andradiotherapy may improve the prognosis. UPSC as the histological subtype of endometrialcancer, targeted therapy may be appropriate, targeted therapy in the future may be universallyaccepted. Conclusions: UPSC has a poor cell differentiation, and prone to deep myometrialinvasion, vascular invasion and distant metastasis, and its poor prognosis, emphasison early diagnosis and treatment. UPSC rare, it remains a lack of prospectivecase-control study, still need to accumulate more data to explore the best diagnosisand treatment options.
