Objective: This study was designed to determine levels of Peripheral Blood TLR2and MMP-12expression and used the medicine of methylprednisolone, and to explorethe roles and clinical significance of they in AECOPD.Methods: Select84cases of hospitalized patients with AECOPD from may2009tomay2009and21cases normal controls (health control).84AECOPD group weredivided into3groups:(1) Treated with methylprednisolone40mg/qd,40mg/q12hand40mg/q8h, each of the group21patients and untreated group21patients,(2) drawing bloodgroup was divided1,3,5,7day five different time points,(3) The levels of serumTLR2and MMP-12were measured by ELISA. Experimental data were processed bySPSS17.0statistical analysis software. A value of p<0.05was considered statisticallysignificant.Results:(1) Peripheral blood TLR2levels in health control were significantly higherthan that in AECOPD group, p<0.05. On the same day peripheral blood TLR2levelsin treated group qd、q12h、q8h were significantly different from untreated groupp<0.05respectively. Different day peripheral blood TLR2levels in the same treatedgroup qd were significantly different from untreated group p<0.05respectively.(2)Peripheral blood MMP-12levels in health control were significantly higher than thatin AECOPD group, p<0.05. On the same day peripheral blood MMP-12levels intreated group qd、q12h、q8h were significantly different from untreated group p<0.05respectively. Different day peripheral blood MMP-12levels in the same treated groupqd were significantly different from untreated group p<0.05respectively.(3)Peripheral blood TLR2levels in AECOPD Ⅰwere significantly different than they that are AECOPD ⅡAECOPD Ⅲ AECOPD Ⅳ p<0.05respectively. I(tp<0.05)weresignificantly different that MMP-12levels between AECOPD Ⅰand AECOPD Ⅲ,AECOPD Ⅲand AECOPD Ⅳ.(4) In the patients of AECOPD TLR2and MMP-12negate significantly correlation between them(r=-0.581), so its difference wasstatistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:(1) The expression of peripheral blood TLR2in the patients ofAECOPD cut apparently, and were with the severity of AECOPD expressiongradually decreases. Methylprednisolone in qd group can raise TLR2expression, andraised it that effection is the best side effects with a minimum dose(2) It wereextraordinary excessive expression that MMP-12in the patients of AECOPD.Methylprednisolone in qd group can reduce MMP-12expression, and raised it thateffection is the best side effects with a minimum dose.(3) In the patients ofAECOPD TLR2and MMP-12negate significantly correlation between them.
