Background: It has been known that AKT-1, GPC-3has stronger expression in theblood of patients with cancer, however, The expression of AKT-1、GPC-3in theascites needs further investigation. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the significance of AKT-1, GPC-3in the differential diagnosis of ascites. Methods: A total of60samples were collected, including cirrhotic ascites(20),tuberculous peritonitwas(20), and malignant ascites(20). AKT-1and GPC-3wasdetermined using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results:1.The level of GPC-3of malignant ascites was61.83±17.98μg/L,Thetuberculous peritonits group was14.97±4.15μg/L,The liver cirrhosis ascites groupwas12.65±4.41μg/L,The malignant ascites’ AKT-1levels were significantly strongerthan the cirrhosis group and the group of tuberculous peritonitis(P<0.01), Thetubercular peritonitis and liver cirrhoswas ascites group compare the non-significancedifference, does not have statistics significance(P>0.05). To ascites26μg/L value forthe sector differential diagnosis of benign and malignant ascites sensitivity of80%and specificity of82.5%.2. The level of AKT-1of malignant ascites was764.99±250.54pg/ml,Thetuberculous peritonitis group’s AKT-1level was311.05±101.97pg/ml,The livercirrhosis ascites group’s AKT-1level was322.19±93.56pg/ml, Malignant ascites’AKT-1levels were significantly stronger than the cirrhosis group and the group oftuberculous peritonitis(P<0.01), The tubercular peritonitis and liver cirrhosis ascitesgroup compare the non-significance difference, does not have statistics significance(P>0.05). To ascitesAKT-1>462pg/ml value for the sector differential diagnosis ofbenign and malignant ascites sensitivity of85%and specificity of70%. 3. GPC-3and the combine detection of AKT-1in the diagnosis of malignantascites of a sensitivity of90%and specificity of62.5%.4.The expression of GPC-3was positively related to the expression of AKT-1.Conclusion:1.The levels of AKT-1and GPC-3had difference in the benign andmalignant ascites, and them’s detection can be used in the differential diagnosis ofascites.2.The combine detection of AKT-1and GPC-3could elevate the sensitivity ofthe diagnosis of malignant3. The expression of GPC-3and GPC-3had positivelyrelation.
