Due to occurrences of bleeding and reactive inflammation after limb trauma or surgery, limb swelling will appear, with the peak at3-7days induced by trauma or surgery, and pain, wound infection and deep vein thrombus are common complications. There are many restricts for conventional rehabilitation therapies to alleviate swelling in acute phase, and meanwhile conventional therapies just focus on symptom treatment of local swell. Herein, it’s of great significance to survey the effect of MLDT used in acute phase of swelling and cause treatment on limp swell and explore the mechanism of MLDT on swelling. Objective:To survey the effect of MLDT used in acute phase of swelling and cause treatment on limp swell and explore the mechanism of MLDT on swelling.Experimental Method:56wistar rats were randomly divided into the following groups:normal control group(D),model group (M:M1,M3,M7) and therapeutic group(T:T1,T3,T7),with8rats in each group.Group D was given no intervention, group M and T were both treated into soft tissue trauma model.MLDT was applied at swelling tissue to promote the reabsorption of lymphatic vessel and lymphatic gland in group T.Volume-measuring method was applied to observe the foot swelling degree respectively in the1st,3rd,7th day after treatment and compare the difference between pre-treatment and post-treatment. Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELSIA) was used to measure serum expression of TNF-a after treatment. All data are presented as X±S and analyzed with SPSS17.0software. The statistically significant differences among groups were evaluated by one-war ANOVA followed by SNK analysis for multiple comparisons. Differences were considered statistically significant at P<0.05. Experimental Results:There was significant difference between group M and group T in foot volume and serum TNF-a expression in all the three days(P<0.05);there was significant difference between group M and T in foot volume and serum TNF-a expression both in the3rd and7th day after treatment(P<0.05),while no significant difference between the two groups in serum TNF-a expression in the1st day(P>0.05),but significant difference existed in foot volume(P<0.05).Experimental Conclution:(1)Compared with group M, the swelling tissue reabsorption rate of MLDT group was remarkably faster after lower limbs soft tissue trauma(P<0.05);(2)When serum TNF-a expression reached maximum value after trauma, the recover rate in serum TNF-a expression of MLDT group was significantly faster than that of group M(P<0.05).
