Experimental Study Of Flavored Astragalus And Cinnamou Twig Five Ingredients Decoction In Treatment Of Peripheral Nerve Injury

Objective:To investigate the promoting mechanism of Flavored Astragalus and Cinnamou twig five ingredients decoction n regeneration and repairation of the injured peripheral Nerve.Methods:Peripheral nerve injury model was set up by cuting the left sciatic nerve of rats.54model SD rats were randomly divided into A group、B group and C group and administered respectively with Flavored Astragalus and Cinnamou twig five ingredients decoction、Methylcobalamin and normal saline every day after surgery.Then sciatic nerve functional index(SFI)、electrophysciological indexes、muscle indexes were tested.Results:The recovery rate of sciatic nerve functional index (SFI) was statistically significantly higher in the A group than in the other two groups at the fourthweek; muscle indexes:Compared with the other two groups, the Wet weight of triceps muscle of calf of the A group are significantly greater; electrophysciological indexes:Nerve conduction velocity and amplitude of compound muscle evoked potential recovery rate of the A group were significantly higher than the other two groups;Conclusion:Flavored Astragalus and Cinnamou twig five ingredients decoction on rat peripheral nerve injury repair and regeneration, and early role in promoting functional recovery.
