Objective:To investigate and compare the effectsof open reduction DHS internal fixation and the Pingle orthopedic manipulative reduction minimally invasiveinternal PFNA fixation for femur intertrochanteric fracture in the elderly patients, and provide the basis for the optimal clinical surgery treatment of senile femoral intertrochanteric fractureMethods:60cases of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture patients equally divided into two groups:DHS group and PFNA group, respectively, open reduction DHS internal fixation and the Pingle orthopedic manipulative reduction minimally invasiveinternal PFNA fixation.Results:60patients were followed up for six months. Compared with open reduction DHS internal fixation group, the the Pingle orthopedic manipulative reduction minimally invasiveinternal PFNA fixation group at an average operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage, fracture healing time terms of the difference was Significant differences (P<0.05). PFNA group has less amount of bleeding and drainage, shorter operation time and fracture healing time. Hip function according to the Harris score, the Pingle orthopedic manipulative reduction minimally invasiveinternal PFNA fixation and open reduction DHS internal fixation group were significantly different (p<0.05).Conclusion:The excellent rate of hip joint function in two group has significant Differences (P<0.05), PFNA group can quickly restore the hip function in affected limb.
