The Clinical Influence Analysis Of Combination Of Chinese Traditional Medicine And Pentameter Vibroacoustic Therapy On The Female Patients With Anxiety Disorders

BackgroundVibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) is a new technology of acoustic treatment. A number of studies show that VAT has efficacy in many areas, i. e. psychiatric disorders, aged-related diseases, childhood diseases, sub-health, sickness of obstetrics and gynaecology, etc. Furthermore, the therapy that combines VAT and pentameter&five elements of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is a typical combination between the thought of pentameter therapy treatment and the technology of modern acoustic. Anxiety disorders is a frequent type of clinical disorder, the two main clinical manifestations including generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and panic disorder (PD). With the increasing pressure of modern social work, interpersonal relations and economy, Anxiety disorders has become a common and frequently-occurring disease in the modern disease spectrum. The primary method used in modern medical is using drugs to interfere. However, because of the expensive drugs, the high adverse reactions and difficult to tolerate, patients often can’t consist and stop the treatment, which seriously affects the clinical efficacy. Therefore, research on the clinical efficacy of VAT on Anxiety disorders patients has a great significance.ObjectivesUnder the guidance of the theory of "Basic Characteristics of TCM","Psychosomatic unity","Pentameter Treatment" and "Music Treatment Based on Syndrome", the present study investigates the influence of VAT to the physical and psychological symptoms of female anxiety disorders and preliminarily observes the clinical efficacy of VAT to the female patients with GAD, which aims to provide effective and safe external treatment as well as the scientific evidence for prevention method of GAD, so as to make a contribution on the promotion and clinical application of music therapy in China.MethodsThe present study makes use of the scientific research methods of Psychometrics and Evidence-Based Medicine. The primary research methods is the clinical random controlled trials. The evaluation of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Psychosocial Stress Survey for Groups (PSSG) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) are applied.The Treatment group adopts VAT combined with traditional Chinese medicine oral treatment, with The control group using a simple treatment of traditional Chinese Medicine。With Treatment for8weeks, followed up for a period of4weeks, the safety index is adverse reactions, blood pressure, pulse, laboratory tests and ECG.ResultsBy the SAS and PSQI comparison between treatment group and control group, the difference is significant (P<0.05). The effect of using the combination therapy of TCM and VAT to treat GAT patients is better than purely TCM treatment.ConclusionThe effect of using the combination therapy of TCM and VAT to treat GAT patients is better than purely TCM treatment.
