The Study On The TCM Syndrome Type And TCM Constitution Type In Patients With Chronic Gastritis

ObjectiveThis thesis uses epidemiological methods for analyzing the distribution of TCM constitution types in patient with Chronic Gastritis (CG), and the relationship between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type, laboratory tests and syndrome differentiation. It explores the internal relationship and regular connection between TCM constitution and TCM syndrome type, for the purpose of providing a theoretic foundation for study of TCM constitution, which can be a new way to prevent and treat CG.MethodsWith a method of combining literature and clinical research,423patients of CG are chosen to take a questionnaire. All the data is recorded in Excel table, statistical research including the patient’s sex, age, profession, living situation, TCM syndrome and TCM constitution, processed by SPSS statistical software to analyze the relationship between TCM constitution and syndrome types.Results1、The frequency of TCM constitution types in CG in descending order is: wetness-heat type> gentleness type> qi-depression type> yang-deficiency type> yin-deficiency type> qi-deficiency type> phlegm-wet type> blood-stasis type>special inherited type.2、The frequency of the syndromes of CG in descending order is:syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach>syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach>syndrome of dampness heat of spleen and stomach>syndrome of yin deficiency of stomach>syndrome of stasis in stomach collateral. 3、Gentleness type and qi-depression type are common in syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach, accounting for26%and20%; wetness-heat type and qi-depression type are common in the syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach; wetness-heat type is common in syndrome of dampness heat of spleen and stomach, occupying48%and16%; gentleness type and yang-def iciency type are common in syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach, occupying24%and22%.4、Syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach and syndrome of dampness heat of spleen and stomach are common in wetness-heat type, all accounting for41%; syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach and syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach are common in gentleness type, occupying62%and32%; syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach and syndrome of dampness heat of spleen and stomach are common in qi-depression type, occupying64%and19%; syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach and syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach are common in yang-deficiency type, occupying43%and40%; syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach and syndrome of yin deficiency of stomach arc common in yin-deficiency type, occupying35%and27%.5、The TCM syndrome type distribution and relationship with sex, age and gastroscope result have statistical sense, but the TCM constitution type distribution and relationship with sex and gastrosope result difference are not evident, but TCM constitution type and age difference are evident.ConelusionThe common TCM constitution types of the CG patients are the wetness-heat type, gentleness type, qi-depression type, yang-deficiency type and yin-deficiency type. The common TCM syndrome types of the CG patients are syndrome of in coordination between liver and stomach, syndrome of weakness of spleen and stomach and syndrome of dampness heat of spleen and stomach. It is indicative by this study that treatment of constitution of CG should be combined with arguing body, disease and syndrome. Based on the patient’s constitution of intervention and adjustment, we can improve the curative effect of TCM and reduce the recurrences, and prevent the disease.
