| ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of TCM retention enema in treating chronic kidney disease (CKD) at stage4-5, try to discuss its therapeutic mechanism, provide theoretical basis for the clinical treatment.Methods40cases of chronic kidney disease at stage4-5were in-patients of our hospital, and they are randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.10cases in the control group were treated with western medicine combined Shengqing-jiangzhuo Capsule, with the other30cases as treatments treated with the above therapy adding TCM retention enema. Through comparing the change between two groups in the symptom points and the index of renal function, such as blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Scr) and glomerular filtration rate(GFR) after14days treatment, and analyzing the result with SPSS17.0, we aim to valuate the therapeutic effects of TCM retention enema.Results(1)The total therapeutic effect in treatment group was significantly superior to the control group (P<0.01). The therapy of the treatment group were markedly relieving the clinic symptom, decreasing the symptom scores, which is significantly superior to the therapy of the control group(P<0.01).(2) Compared before and after treatment in each group, and compared between groups after treatment, BUN, Scr, Cys-C, GFR in the treatment group were significantly improved than which in control group (P<0.05).(3) Compared before and after treatment in two groups, there was no significant difference in hepatic function and K+, Na+, Ca2+, TCO2in blood.ConclusionThe TCM retention enema in treating chronic kidney disease at stage4-5 could markedly decrease the symptom scores, improve the life quality of patient, increase the Glomerular filtration rate. and delay the deterioration of renal function, to some extent. |
