Objective: Summarize the clinical cases of the patients who suffered from BullousKeratopathy then accepted Endothelial Keratoplasty and postoperative regularly during thetime from January2009to January2012in our hospital. Analyze the relation between thepatients’age、the aetiological agent、the statues of eyes before operation、the accompanysymptoms and the recovery circumstance after operation. Discusses the clinical effect、prevention and management for the adverse reactions of Endothelial Keratoplasty for thetreatment of Bullous Keratopathy. Methods: The17cases (17eyes) that suffered from Bullous Keratopathy thenaccepted Endothelial Keratoplasty were retrospectively studied. Summarize the clinical effectof Endothelial Keratoplasty for the treatment of Bullous Keratopathy、the improvement ofclinical symptoms after operation and vision recovery, the comparison of central cornealthickness and transparency between preoperation and postoperation, the descendment ofEndothelial cell count after operation and complications. Results: The most commonly pathogenesis of Bullous Keratopathy isphacoemulsification and intraocular lenses implantation, totally9cases (one of themcombined with chronic eye explosion injuries), by percentage52.9%; All of the17casespatients’ pain and corneal irritation vanished on the postoperative day, the corneal bigbubbles vanished on the postoperative day or one day after that, until one week afteroperation, the cornea turned to smooth and transparent, thickness were close to normal status, the average value of central corneal thickness in this group of17cases is (578±30) μmwhen one week after operation, were improved significantly;1case retinal contusion in thisgroup of17cases, no visual acuity improved, all of other16patients’ vision improved atdifferent rate, after one week the best corrected visual acuity up to0.3, after one month thebest corrected visual acuity up to0.6, after one month for the average astigmatism is(1.72±0.87)D; postoperative plant piece of endothelial cell count all has different ratedrop, the average corneal endothelial cell count is (2446±218)/mm2until one month afteroperation; neither displacement nor dislocation of transplants occured in all of the17cases of postoperative patients, no obvious murky layers have found. In addition to1patientsuffered rejection because of stop drug self-administered, there is a good recovery aftergiven drug treatment in time, the other16cases with no major complications. Conclusion: Endothelial Keratoplasty is the most effevtive surgical method for thetreatment of Bullous Keratopathy; After Endothelial Keratoplasty for the treatment ofBullous Keratopathy, the eyesight recover quickly, the astigmatism degree are small and therejection rate is low; The most commonly pathogenesis of Bullous Keratopathy isphacoemulsification and intraocular lenses implantation.
