Retrospective Analysis On The Reasons Of The Remove Of2256Cases Of IUD

Object：To investigate the cause of the remove of the IUD in different ageparagraph and in different fixed years.Methods：Retrospective analysis on2256cases of the types of IUD whichcollected in January2010to2011in January and on the reasons of the remove.Results：1. In2256cases of IUD successfully removed, the O-type IUD isthe most up to898, accounting for36.65%of the total number of the IUDremove.2. The remove of the discomfort reason is1514cases, accounting for67.1%of the total number of the IUD remove，and the remove not withdiscomfort is742cases, accounting for32.9%of the total number of the IUDremove.745cases remove for the irregular bleeding, accounting for33.0%ofthe total number of the IUD remove,is the main reason for the IUD removed fordiscomfort reason. The remove of the displacement is second accounting for19.5%of the total number of the IUD remove. The remove causes of pregancyand pain is relatively low, accounting for5.8%and8.8%of the total number ofthe IUDremove.3. In different age groups, the composition of the reasonswhich due to the discomfort to take out of IUD is significant difference（χ~2=131.524，P=0.000<0.01）.The main reason for all age groups to removethe IUD is irregular bleeding.With the age growth, the remove reason ofpregancy and displacement accounting for the proportion of the discomfortreason shows downward trend,the proportion of irregular bleeding showsupward tend,the proportion of the painful reason shows downward trend,but inthe age group which is older than50-year-old,the proportion of the painfulreason is significantly higher than other age groups, becoming one of the mainreason of the remove of the IUD in this age group.4. With a device different years, the composition of the reasons which due to the discomfort to take out ofIUD is significant difference（χ~2=71.22，P=0.000<0.05）. With a device yearsbecoming long, the remove reason of pregancy and displacement accountingfor the proportion of the discomfort reason in this age group shows downwardtrend, the proportion of the painful reason in this age group shows downwardand then upward tend, the proportion of irregular bleeding shows upward andthen downward tend.Conclution：1.in the postmenopausal reason of the IUD removement O–type IUD is the mainly type.This can prove that it has good compatibilitywith the organization.2.Among all the reasons of the IUD removed,theirregular bleeding is still the main reason. Though during the40to50-year-old,the proportion of irregular bleeding of the discomfortable IUD remove is higherthan the other age groups,may not caused by the IUD itself.3. The time withthe device has little effect to the discomfort remove of the IUD,the change ofthe proportion of the discomfortable removemet of the IUD may be related tothe age which woman is in this time with the device.
