Objectiver To study the diagnostic value of using impulse oscillation(IOS) to measure the respiratory in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).Methods:In a retrospective analysis of our hospital were routine pulmonary function and IOS pulmonary function test, and has a definite diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis disease of45subjects,20were male,25female; age41-65years old, average age (54.21±12.43). Selection of healthy people as the control group of27cases,12cases were male,15female; age38-62years old, average age (58.64±11.8). Application of the German Jaeger company production of routine pulmonary function instrument (Master Screen PFT) and pulse and shock lung function instrument (Master IOS) underwent pulmonary function test, this instrument technical parameters meet the American Thoracic Society and the European Respiratory Society standards requirements. Calculation of airway resistance with three breath curve average values for X5. The results include the parameter, structure parameter, spectrum, spectrum of differential mean chart and impedance plethysmography. Main outcome reflected the total airway resistance in the low frequency (5Hz) when R5, reflecting the central airway resistance high frequency (20Hz) when R20, reflect the surrounding elastic resistance X5. Using SPSS17.0software package was used for statistical analysis, the statistical results to+s said, the two groups were compared using paired sample t test.Results:In pulmonary gas to make a deep inspiration, IPF group and healthy group between elastic resistance (X5) was very significant (P<0.01) surprise, diffusion function test (TLcosb, TLcosb%) between the two groups there is also a very significant difference (P<0.01). The positive rate of IOS was significantly higher than that of conventional lung function and P(A-a)O2positive rate. Select the IOS Xsand TLcosb%variable correlation analysis, the results show that Xsand TLcosb%were significantly related, R is0.5762, P<0.01. This suggests that Xscould reflect IPF respiratory mechanics status, and pulmonary function showed a good correlation between them.Conclusions:IOS may provide some benefit for detecting early IPF patients.
