Objective:Investigating the four embryo transfer techniques’influence for pregnancy rate. Methods:Based on abundance of literature, employ Meta analysis to three main embryo transfer methods:uterine clamp, cervical dilatation, ultrasound guidance and depositing the embryo. Results:A total of1904papers were enrolled and only seventeen studies (8490patients) met the inclusion criteria. Final Meta analysis results showed that:uterine clamp compared with non-clamp for uterine contraction has Q=1.58, P=0.45, OR=2.81,95%CI(1.21-6.50), Z=2.41, P=0.02; cervical dilatation compared to non-cervical dilatation for pregnancy rate has Q=0.24, P=0.89,OR=2.09,95%CI(1.38-3.17), Z=3.46, P=0.0005;ultrasound-guided compared with clinical touch for clinical pregnancy rate has Q=5.45, P=0.36, OR=1.35,95%CI(1.19-1.53), Z=4.72, P<0.00001; ultrasound-guided compared with clinical touch for ongoing pregnancy rate has Q=5.82, P=0.21, OR=1.41,95%CI(1.24-1.60), Z=5.16, P<0.00001;3/4dimension ultrasound-guided compared with2dimension ultrasound-guided for pregnancy rate has Q=0.01, P=0.90, OR=1.03,95%CI(0.89-1.21), Z=0.42, P=0.67; the position of depositing embryo for improving pregnancy rate has Q=3.21, P=0.36, OR=0.75,95%CI(0.61-0.92),Z=2.73,P=0.006.Conclusions:For cervical stenosis, cervical dilatation can improve pregnancy rate; ultrasound guidance can improve both the clinical pregnancy rate and ongoing pregnancy rate comparing with clinical touch; higher dimension ultrasound guidance can’t provide more higher pregnancy rate; the middle position of uterus maybe a better choice to deposit the embryo; should avoid uterine clamp as much as possible.
