Objective:To analyze the clinical features of gastrointestinal bleeding in patients with cardiovascular disease, as well as the effects that anti-platelet drugs contribute to gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods:Investigate and retrospectively analyse the hospitalized gastrointestinal bleeding patients with cardiovascular disease in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University in recent years. They were divided into the drug-taking group and the control group according to whether antiplatelet agents were taken. Results:The survey accounted for62.1%of male patients, aged72.25±14.38years,37.9%of female, aged73.94±9.74years.Among the causes of gastrointestinal bleeding, drug-related bleeding and portal hypertension usually have a previous bleeding history (p=0.023), vascular malformation often causes lower gastrointestinal bleeding (p=0.00), and is related to lower hemoglobin concentration (p=0.013) as well as cryptogenic gastrointestinal bleeding. There are no statistic significant differences in age, average day in hospital, the OB’s clearance time, shock index, as well as the indicators that reflect coagulation and vital signs between the drug-taking group and the control (p>0.05). The proportion of the drug-taking group suffering major gastrointestinal bleeding (greater than1000ml) is much higher than the control (p=0.007). The drug-taking group also endure a longer history of cardiovascular disease than the control (p=0.002), and the time of gastrointestinal bleeding prior to admission was shorter,(p=0.029).Conclusions:Patients suffer gastrointestinal bleeding with cardiovascular disease mostly are elderly men. The top three causes of bleeding are peptic ulcer, vascular malformation and drug-related bleeding. And the main combined cardiovascular diseases are hypertension, coronary heart disease and cardiac arrhythmia. Part of the hemorrhage reasons are related with the bleeding site as well as the previous bleeding history.Patients taking anti-platelet group have longer history of cardiovascular disease, who can detect gastrointestinal bleeding earlier, and they’re more likely to suffer major gastrointestinal bleeding. Drug-taking does not affect the condition or duration of hospitalization in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding.
