Graves ’disease is an autoimmune disease of the endocrine system, about20%-50%of patients with eye symptoms, Graves’ disease is often associatedwith eye symptoms, involving the orbital tissues, an ocular lesions associatedwith systemic diseases. Lymphocytes in particular, T lymphocyte-mediatedimmune response against thyroid cell TSH receptor plays an important role inthe pathogenesis of Graves’ disease. CD4+T cells with immunomodulatoryfunction, can promote the proliferation of T cells, B cells and other immunecells, differentiation, immune function through the secretion and synthesis ofcytokines. The pathogenesis of Graves’ and the activation of CD4+T cells toproduce Th1and Th2cytokines imbalance. CD28is an important function ofcostimulatory molecules, it can promote the proliferation of T cells, activationof IL-2secretion and anti-apoptotic factor Bcl-xl, Bcl-2expression can alsoregulate T cell activation. This study selected in March2010to August2011in Jilin ProvincePeople’s Hospital in-patient and out-patient followed up patients. Merge eyesymptoms of Graves patients met the diagnostic criteria of Graves ’disease andexophthalmos of the diagnostic criteria revised levy in accordance with therevised Graves’ eye of the American Association of thyroid disease the standardcombination of Oriental exophthalmos standard0-2for simple exophthalmos, eye symptoms, above as infiltrative exophthalmos (GO), Graves’ merger eyesign selected cases:18males and12females in the control group:30cases,including17males and13females, and radioimmunoassay determination ofTSH, FT3and FT4, the application of flow cytometry combined with Graves’ disease eye symptoms in patients with peripheral blood T lymphocytes CD4and costimulatory molecules CD28expression levels were detected. The resultsshowed that the invasive group and pure TSH lower than the control group, infiltration group had TSH below the simple group, simple group in peripheralblood of patients with TSH expression was also lower than the control group,T3, T4expression infiltration group and the group were higher, infiltrationgroup and the group were not statistically different Graves’ patients withinfiltrative exophthalmos of CD4~+was higher than patients with simpleexophthalmos, Graves infiltrative exophthalmos in patients with peripheralblood CD28~+expression is lower than the simple exophthalmos patients.Duration>2years in patients with CD4~+expression of the syndrome werehigher than that of Graves’ eye disease duration≤2years, disease duration>2years in patients with CD28~+was lower than in patients with disease duration≤2years. Graves’ disease with eye symptoms in patients with peripheral blood ofCD28~+was positively correlated with TSH expression.T lymphocytes in the imbalance of the regulatory network Closely relatedto the development of with Graves’ disease, when the number or dysfunction ofCD4T lymphocytes regulate the loss of balance, resulting in the bodyincidence. Graves cause of extraocular muscle and orbital connective tissueinflammatory response, fibrosis lead to the increase of the orbital contents, proptosis, lid retraction, chemosis, diplopia, eye movement disorders, opticnerve compression symptoms, lymphocytes, particularly T lymphocytesmediated immune response against thyroid cells TSH receptor plays animportant role in the pathogenesis of Graves’ disease. These results show thatthe abnormal functional status of the Graves and other autoimmune diseaseslymphocyte subsets.Using flow cytometry of CD4sign of Graves ’disease with eye andcostimulatory molecules CD28expression changes, the findings show that Graves’ disease with eye symptoms in patients with elevated CD4Tlymphocytes, accompanied by costimulatory molecules CD28in the peripheralblood lymphocytes decreased expression, indicating that synergy may play animportant role in the abnormal activation of the stimulatory molecule CD28onCD4T lymphocytes.Eye symptoms of Graves’ disease in the higher gradelesions, the greater the degree of clinical often application of TSH and FT3andFT4determination as a method to measure the severity of eye symptoms ofGraves’ disease, Graves’ disease with eye symptoms in peripheral blood ofpatients with CD28~+and TSH expression relevantsex. the application of clinicaloften TSH and FT3and FT4determination as a method to measure the severityof eye symptoms of Graves ’disease, Graves’ disease with eye symptoms inperipheral blood of patients with CD28and TSH expression, with potential toguide clinical and determine disease severityvalue, may levy for clinicalGraves’ disease with eye symptoms patients to monitor disease severity predict.
