Objective: To explore the epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosticmethods and treatment experience of the splenic space occupying lesion, toimprove the level of clinical diagnosis and treatment of splenic spaceoccupying lesion.Methods: Retrospectively analysising50patients who treated by the FirstHospital of Jilin University from January2010to March2012, which were alldone the operations and confirmed by the postoperative pathology, toinvestigate the treatment and follow-up treatment.Results: In50patients,30patients with benign masses, the splenichemangioma are8cases, splenic cyst are11cases, splenic hamartoma is1case,splenic tuberculosis are2cases,1case is cavernous vascular hemangioma,lymphangioma are2cases,2cases are inflammatory pseudotumor, splenic cystlymphangioma is1case, splenic abscess are2cases, the diagnosis accuracyrate is42%. In20cases of malignant tumor, splenic malignant lymphoma are12cases, which are all Non Hodgkin lymphoma, tissue cell sarcoma is1case,splenic metastatic tumors are7cases, the diagnosis accuracy rate is86%.Benign cases were done simple splenectomy, malignant cases were donesplenectomy and splenic hilar lymph node dissection.Conclusion: Splenic space occupying lesions is much of the primarydisease, especially common benign primary disease; B ultrasound, CT or MRIare the main diagnostic methods for; Benign cases were done simplesplenectomy, malignant cases should be done systemic theropy and theoperation is the main mathod.
