Establishment Of Individual Elastic Fixed Model Of Lumbar And Discussion Of Related Conception

Objective：The focus of this study is proposed a new lumbar spine fixed idea，establishthe lumbar elastic fixation or elastic fixation combined with rigid fixation of the clinicalmodel，treatment the lumbar degenerative diseases, to maximize the protection of the activefunction of the lumbar functional segments，show the Individual of treatment of lumbardegenerative diseases，in order to improve the efficacy of surgery.Methods： Through different Lumbar elastic fixation pattern or elastic fixationcombined with a rigid fixation pattern in the clinical to treatment of multi-segmental lumbardegenerative diseases. There are90patients in this group, the average age is56years old, alloh them have been followed up for6-48months, with an average of27.2months.47cases ofa single elastic fixed,43cases of fixation and fusion equipment used in conjunction. Half ofthe patient’s admission diagnosis is disc degenerative disease, disc herniation accounted for29%, other diagnostic accounted for21%. All patients from the clinical symptoms (Oswestryscore, and low back pain VAS score), signs (lumbar activity), imaging to retrospectiveclinical evaluation, and compare the results.Results：After operation, the patients could walk in2.5days, resumed their dailyactivities in3weeks and went back to work in6weeks. All patients were followed-up for6-48months, with an average follow-up of26months. The last follow-up data as a basis forfinal evaluation. All patients with postoperative pain VAS score OSwestry dysfunction indexsignificantly improved compared with preoperative,the difference is Significance(P<0.05).The long term of followed-up is satisfactory and the movement of lumbar is nearlynormal.Conclusion：Lumbar elastic fixation pattern or elastic fixation combined with a rigidfixation pattern is a new conception for the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases. In thisway we obtained a modularity in the stabilization system with the preservation of themovement in the upper lumbar spine, avoiding a longer fusion or delay the occurrence offusion segments of the upper and lower disc and facet joint degeneration with itsconsequences.Given the efficacy of this group of patients, we first proposed a new concept of the lumbar fixation,based on the elastic fixation combined with a rigid fixation, to establishmentthe individual fixed model of lumbar, provide a theoretical basis and clinical reference modelfor the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease.
