Influence Of Repairing Effect In Different Impression Mothods To Repair Kennedy Ⅰ Class Dentition Defect

Objective:To discusses the repairing effect of different impression mothods used for making impression to repair Kennedy I class Dentition defect,Finally,provide a reference for clinical applicaton.Methods:16subjects of mandibular Kennedy I class dentition defect were selected according to the inclusion criteria for researching.The first part:firstly,make three groups of impression using three kinds of impression materials.The alginate impression materials group was the control group,silicone rubber impression materials group was the experimental group1,alginate added with impression compound was the experimental group2.;Secondly,all impressions were perfused with superhard stone;Thirdly,scan and measure the distance between the lowest point on the edentulous alveolar ridge near the abutments and the lowest point on the distal marginal ridge of the plaster mode of three groups with3D laser scanner and Dental design2009software;Last,analysis the data with the variance analysis of randomized block design and compare the displacement difference of alveolarcrest mucosa when using different impression mothods to make impression.The second part,removable partial dentures were respectively made on the three groups plaster mode with the same design method.Observe and compare the clinical effect after the three groups dentures were worn by the same patient.The result was analysed with qualitative data x2test. The above two parts of the experimental results can indicate the best choice of impression materials and methods when using removable partial denture to repair Kennedy I class dentition defect.Results:1、There were no statistical significance between the control group and the experimental group1in terms of the distance between the two points(P>0.05),while the distance difference between the experimental group2and other groups are statistically significant(P<0.05)2、The clinical effect difference between the control group and the experimental group1have no statistical significance(P>0.05)after three groups of dentures were used,while the clinical effect difference between the experimental group2and other groups are statistically significant (p<0.05)Conclusion:1、In the case of Kennedy I class Dentition defect,making fressure impression can reduce the displacement of the alveolarcrest mucosa compared with anatomic impression2、In the case of Kennedy I class Dentition defect,the group of impression compound added with alginate impression material has the best repairing effect compared with the alginate impression material and the silicone rubber impression material.
