Objective:1.To investigate the value of Tei index derived from pulsed wave-tissue Doppler imaging (PW-TDI) in evaluating right ventricular global function of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Observe the changes of Tei index before and after the pulmonary hypertension appear2. To investigate the value of time and speed parameter in assessing right ventrieular function in Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Provide a reference for clinical treatment.Methods:A total of30patients with SLE and30volunteers were involved in this study.measure the traditional ultrasonic parameters of right hear:Right-atrium(left-right)(RA), Right-ventricular (left-right)(RV), Right Ventricular anterior Wall Thickness(RVAW) and Pulmonary artery Systolic Pressure(PASP). Measure the time and Velocity parameters derived form the TDI,such as,systolic Velocity (Vs), Early Diastolic Velocity (Ve),Later Diastolic Velocity(Va),Pre-ejection time (PET),Isovolumic relaxation time (IRT) Calaculate the Tei index. Compared all the parameters between the SLE and the volunteers.Results:(1) The traditional ultrasonic parameters:RA, RV, RVAW, RVEF have no significant difference between the SLE and the normal control group.(p>0.05)(2) The TDI-derived Tei Index of group SLE(A1-Tei=0.66±0.25, A2-Tei=0.73±0.02)were significantly higher than the normal control group (Tei=0.35±0.07).(p<0.01). And there have no significant difference between the A1and A2.(3) The comparison about the relevant time and Velocity parameters.①Compared with the healthy volunteers, the parameters reflected systolic function, Vs, PET, PET/ET in group A1had no obviously difference(P>0.05), but the parameters reflected diastolic function, Ve, Ve/Va were significantly decreased(P<0.05);②Both the Systolic and Diastolic function parameters between A2and the normal control group have significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions:Tei index measured by right ventricular tricuspid annulus PW-TDI method can be more sensitive to reflect the overall function of the SLE patients. The relevant time interval and Velocity parameters can be early, sensitive reflection of the right ventri-cular systolic and diastolic function changes and order.
