The Value Of HsCRP In Estimating Essential Hypertension Myocardial Fibrosis

Objective:To observe the changes of plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hsCRP) and myocardial acoustic densitometry、serum Procollagen type III amino-terminal propeptidein(PIIINP)in patients with essential hypertension (EH), and investigate the value of hsCRP in hypertension myocardial fibrosis.Methods:All the selected subjects were divided into3groups:30normal persons,28patients with left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH)and26patients with non left ventricular hypertrophy(NLVH). Acoustic densitometry was examined by echocardiography.The levels of plasma hsCRP were analysed by Immune latex turbidimetry.The levels of serum P III NP were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results:(1)In contrast to normal groups(1.4q±0.8mg/L)there was an increased tendency as to hsCRP in EH-NLVH groups(1.7±0.7mg/L)(P>0.05),The levels of hsCRP were significantly higher in EH-LVH groups(5.6±2.0mg/L)than EH-NLVH(1.7±0.7mg/L)groups (p<0.05)(2)In contrast to normal groups there was no significant difference as to CAI1、CAI2、CVIB1、 CVIB2in EH-NLVH groups(p>0.05).Compared with EH-NLVH groups,CAIl and CAI2significantly increased (p<0.01),CVI、CVIB2significantly lower in EH-LVH groups(p<0.01).(3)The levels of PIIINP were significantly higher in EH-NLVH groups(9.26±3.66ug/L) than normal groups(5.94±1.32ug/L)(p<0.05),In contrast to EH-NLVH(9.26±3.66ug/L) there was no significant difference as to PIIINP in EH-LVH groups(9.39±3.75ug/L)(P>0.05).(4)hsCRP was positively correlated with CAI1and CAI2(r=0.668、0.594p<0.01),hsCRP was negatively correlated with CVIB1and CVIB2(r=-0.346、-0.300p<0.01).(5)PIIINP was incorrelated with CAI1, CAI2,CVIB1and CVIB2Conclusion:The levels of hsCRP may be easy and valuable method in estimating essential hypertension mvocardial fibrosis.
