Objective:To compare the expression levels of IFN-y(Thl-type cytokines)、 IL-4(Thl-type cytokines) and IFN-y/IL-4(Thl/Th2)in pre-eclamptic serum and to investigate their role in pre-eclampisa.Methods:In45normal pregnant women,40mild pre-eclampsia patients and50severe pre-eclampsia (SPE) patients, The expression levels of IFN-yand IL-4in the three groups were detected by enzyme linked immunoassay(ELISA).Results:(1) The expression level of IFN-yin the SPE group higher than normal pregnant and mild pre-eclampsia, and the difference is significant(p<0.05).The was no difference between the normal pregnant and mild pre-eclampsia (P>0.05).(2) The expression level of IL-4in the SPE group decreased compared with the normal group, there was significantly statistical difference (P<0.05). The was no difference between the normal pregnant and mild pre-eclampsia (P>0.05) The was no difference between the mild pre-eclampsia and the normal group (P>0.05)(3) The ratio of IFN-yand IL-4in the SPE group higher than normal pregnant, and the difference is significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1、 The expression of IFN-y in severe preeclampsia group increased significant.2、 The expression of IL-4in severe preeclampsia group decreased significant.3、 The ratio of IFN-y/IL-4increased with the aggravation ofdisease, and there was significant difference between severe preeclampsia and normal pregnancy group, mild preeclampsia group.
