Objective:To compare and evaluate the dynamic changes between intestinal endotoxemia and IL-1β after partial hepatectomy (PH) in rats.Methods:One-hundred and twenty adult male Wistar rats were randomized into three groups:A normal control(NC) group, a partial hepatectomized (PH) group and a sham-operated (SO) group. To study the dynamic changes of plasma endotoxemia, IL-1β, ALT levels and residual liver protein expression of IL-1β.Results:Plasma ET levels significantly increased during6~72h after PH, there were two peak values at12,48h. And compared respectively with the ET levels of NC group (/P<0.05). Plasma IL-1β levels were significantly increased during6~72h after PH. There was positive relationship between the dynamic changes of IL-1β and ET in plasma (r=0.729, P<0.05). Plasma ALT lewels significantly increased during6~72h period dynamic time points after PH, and there was positive relationship between the dynamic changes of IL-iβ and ALT (r=0.767,P<0.05). PH group residual liver tissue after6h IL-1β expression in the liver cytoplasm,24h IL-1β expression mainly in the liver cell membrane.48h~72h IL-1β expression in liver sinusoidal membrane surface and the intensity increased significantly. After72h the expression of IL-1β significantly reduced to168h IL-1β expression disappeared completely. NC group IL-1β in liver tissue negative, SO group was no specific staining at all time points. Conclusion:Endotoxemia induced by PH can directly affect the generation of IL-1β, and there was positive relationship between the dynamic changes of IL-1β and ET. IETM may affect liver regeneration through the biological role of IL-1β.
