| Objective:To investigate the mental status, the awareness of reproductive health and the need in unmarried induced abortion women, and to explore the factor which have influence on the mental status and the score of reproductive health knowledge,then to provide reference for psychological health care in the unmarried abortion women and improving their satisfaction.Methods:Data from1159patients with unmarried induced abortion women who were cured in the three hospitals in GuangXi from September2010to June2011.The investigation divided into two parts.The first part of it was women’s reproductive health knowledge investigation with self-made reproductive health questionnaire;the second part is the survey of the psychological status of the unmarried women with Symptom Checklist90,compared with the national norm/Guangxi norm,studing the effects of age,educational level,reproductive health questionnaire scores.Descriptive analysis, Kruskal-Wallis H test, ANOVA, t-test and multiple linear stepwise regression were performed by the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS)16.0. Results:(1) The general score of self-made women’s questionnaire of reproductive health knowledge was75.13±10.64,87.4%of patients had bad or moderate reproductive health knowledge(2)68.3%of patients knew one or two kinds of contraceptive methods,92.0%of them knew the knowledge of emergency contraceptive,2.5%of them never knew any contraceptive methods;(3)46.4%of patients chose no contraceptives which were due to contraceptive failure;2.9%of them had never taken any contraceptive measures since the first sexual behavior;(4)13.6%of patientst thought they should popularize sexual health education before the age of13,35.0%of them thought between13and15years old to popular health education was good, only16.8%of them thought that the sexual health education should popularize after the age of18;(5) The score of self-made women’s questionnaire of reproductive health knowledge has been influenced by by region(P<0.05), ethnicity(.P<0.05), education level(P<0.05) and time of abortion(P<0.05); Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showeded:there were4factors which influenced the score, ranked decendantly as follows:the last abortion time, educational level, age and region;(6) The general score of SCL-90was147.26±43.47, among10dimensionals,"senstive factors"got the highest scores (1.84±0.48);"phobia factor" got the lowest scores (1.42±0.53);(7) Compared to the national norm, all factors except "depression" have significant differences(P<0.05); Compared to National Youth norm, all factors have significant differences(P<0.05);Compared to the GuangXi Women norm, all factors have significant differences (P<0.05).(8) Compared the students score of unmarried induced abortion women to the National College Students Norm,all factors except " despondence""hostilities""bias"and "neurosis" have significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1) Unmarried induced abortion women had bad or moderate reproductive health knowledge;(2) The rate of contraceptive methods awareness in unmarried abortion women has increased, but the rate of correct adoption of contraceptive measures was lower;(3) The factors that affected the score of self-made women’s questionnaire of reproductive health knowledge include:the last abortion time, educational level, age and region;(4) The general status of mental health of unmarried induced abortion women was ranked in the lower-level.(5) The factors that affected the mental health were ethnicity, educational level and time of abortions. |
