Objective To study the effect of different theraputic methods on airway inflammation and remodeling in the mice asthmatic model.Methods50healthy female Kunming mice were divided into five groups randomly,10mice of each group, normal control group (A), asthma group (B), Pingchuanguben Decoction group(C),Pulmicort group(D), combined intervention group (E), The mice ofB、 C、 D、 E groups were established the models of asthma using ovalbumin, after building, each group was given different therapy. Finally assay the levels of IL-13、 IL-17in BLAF with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and detect the level of MMP-9and TIMP-1of lung tissue with immunohistochemical analysis.Results①The level of IL-13in group B were higher than other groups, which had significant difference among the above groups (P<0.05);There was no significant difference between group D and group C(P=0.19); group C were compared separately with group C and D(P=0.003,0.076),while the level of IL-13in group A were lower than that of in group B、 C、 D,there was significant difference among the B、 C、 D (P>0.05),but there was no significant difference between group A and groupE(P>0.05).②The level of IL-17in group B were higher than other groups, which had significant difference among the above groups (P<0.05);There was no significant difference between group D and group C(P=0.11), the level of IL-17in group A were lower than that of in group C, which had significant difference among the group A and C (P<0.05), while there were no significant difference between groupA and group D、 E (P=0.14,0.26).③The positive expression of MMP-9and TIMP-1of lung tissue in group B was significantly enhanced than that of other groups,while there was a few expression in group A and groupE.④The level of MMP-9and TIMP-1of lung tissue group B was higher than that of other groups,which had significant difference among the above groups (P<0.01), and group A was lower than that of other groups, there was significant difference among other groups(P<0.01). there was no significant difference between group Cand group D(P=0.056,0.095), there was significant difference among other group E and C、 D(P<0.01).⑤The level of MMP-9of lung tissue and the ratio of MMP-9and TIMP-1were lower in group A than that of other groups while that of group B were higher than other groups (P<0.01); but there was no significant difference between group Dand group E, and group E was higher than that of group C, which had significant difference among the above groups (P=0.045).Conclusions①The asmatic mouse model stimulated by OVA may be resultd from the higher expression of IL-13and IL-17while the unbalance of MMP-9/TIMP-1may demonstrate that there was airway remolding at early period.②Traditional chinese medicine may reduce airway inflammation and airway remolding by adjusting the expression of the unbalance of Thl/Th2and MMP-9/TIMP-1respectively, which can be got the same result by using budesonid.
