Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of RACK1in the peripheral blood of coronary atherosclerosis, and to study the relationship between the RACK1and the extent of coronary lesions in patients who were examined by CAG.Methods A total of83coronary atherosclerosis patients were enrolled. According to the results of angiography, the coronary stenosis score was used to analyzed the degree of coronary stenosis, all subjects were divided into four groups:group I (0score), viz., normal group; group Ⅱ (1-1Oscores); groupⅢ(11-20scores); groupⅣ(>20scores); besides, the group Ⅱ、Ⅲ、 Ⅳ mean coronary stenosis group, and group I means no coronary stenosis group. To detect all their RACK1mRNA expression in the peripheral blood by real-time polymerase chain reaction.Results The RACK1mRNA expression in the peripheral blood of coronary stenosis group was significantly higher than that of no coronary stenosis group (t=4.51, P<0.05) Every disease group (group Ⅱ、 Ⅲ、 Ⅳ) was higher than that of normal group (group I)(t=2.98,4.67,5.52, F<0.05); In the disease groups, the RACK1mRNA expression of groupIII and groupIV each were significantly higher than that of group Ⅱ (t=1.87and3.45, P<0.05),and their were no statistical significance between groupⅢ and groupⅣ (t=1.56, p>005).Correlation analysis showed that RACK1mRNA expression in the peripheral blood was correlated with the coronary artery narrow degree in coronary atherosclerosis patients (rs=0.57,p<0.05)Conclusions the expression of RACK1is up-regulated in peripheral blood in coronary atherosclerosis patients, and it was correlated with coronary artery narrow degree. Monitoring RACK1’s expression can provide a reference value for diagnosis and treatment for coronary heart disease.
