Objective To explore the relationship with Chemokine CXC Ligand16serum level and microembolus of cerebral in patients with acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.Methods61patients with acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction by sterosis of internal carotid artery or middle cerebral were enrolled as patient groups. According to the result of microembolic signals(MES) detection, they were divided into MES positive group(17cases) and MES negative group(44cases).The74control groups were health physical examination. Serum CXCL16levels in all subjects were measured by enzyme-linked immunorbent assay (ELISA) and were compared between every two groups. The risk factors for acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction were revealed by multinomial logistic regression analysis. Results The serum CXCL16levels in patient group (2.3±0.4)ug/L were significantly higher than those in control group (2.0±0.5)ug/L,(t=4.258, P=0.000); The serum CXCL16levels in MES positive group(2.6±0.4)ug/L were significantly higher than those in MES negative group(2.3±0.4)ug/L and healthy control,(P<0.05); Multinomial logistic regression analysis showed that serum CXCL16level (OR:7.542,95%CI:2.470~23.031)、hypertriglyceridemia (OR:4.471,95%CI:1.646~12.145)、hypertension (OR:0.295,95%CI:0.120-0.725) were the independent risk factors for cerebral infarction. Conclusion The serum CXCL16levels increased in acute phase of cerebral infarction. The serum CXCL16levels in MES positive group were the highest. The increased serum CXCL16level were an independent risk factor for cerebral infarction.
