Objective: To prepare mouse model which can simulate acute bronchitis in children.Based on modern medical research,using modern molecular biology techniques, bydetermining and analysing the levels of the serum Interleukin-4and Interferon-γ, weverify the therapeutic effect of Xiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquids on mice of acutebronchitis model,Explore the mechanism of Xiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquids tocytokine balance in children. This provides strong laboratory evidence for clinicalmedication.Methods:80Kunming species mice selected are randomly divided into normal groupand model group. Referring to the method introduced by "Practical Animal ModelStudy about TCM Syndrome" which is improved, we use smoked prepared acutebronchitis model. The model mice prepared are randomly divided into5groups. Onegroup is the model group, and the remaining4groups are the treatment groups. Andthe remaining4groups are respectively treated by Xiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquidshigh, middle and low dose and Xiao’er Qingre Zhike oral liquids for one weeks. Oneweeks later, all mice are picked eyeballs to collect blood to determine the levels of theserum Interleukin-4and Interferon-γ.Results:1The serum IL-4of high and middle dose treatment groups of Xiao’erQingfei Zhike oral liquids and Xiao’er Qingre Zhike oral liquids group has a verysignificant difference with model group(P<0.01); The serum IL-4of low dosetreatment group of Xiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquids has a significant difference withmodel group(P<0.05); The serum IL-4of middle dose treatment group of Xiao’erQingfei Zhike oral liquids and Xiao’er Qingre Zhike oral liquids group has asignificant difference with high dose treatment group(P<0.05); The serum IL-4of lowdose treatment group has a very significant difference with high dose treatment group(P<0.05); The serum IL-4of normal group has a very significant difference withmodel group (P<0.01);2The serum IFN-γ of high dose treatment group of Xiao’erQingfei Zhike oral liquids and normal group has a very significant difference withmodel group(P<0.01);The serum IFN-γ of middle and low dose treatment groups ofXiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquids and Xiao’er Qingre Zhike oral liquids group has asignificant difference compared with model group(P<0.05);The serum IFN-γ ofnormal group has a very significant difference with model group (P<0.01).Conclusion:1The levels of the serum IL-4in mice of acute bronchitis is reducedcompared with the normal group, while the levels of the serum IFN-γ is increased. Itsuggests the presence of cytokine imbalance in mice of accute bronchitis;2Xiao’erQingfei Zhike oral liquids can increase the level of the serum IL-4, lower the level ofthe serum IFN-γ and have certain accommodation effect on mechanism of cytokinebalance;3Xiao’er Qingfei Zhike oral liquids has better therapeutic effect on mice ofacute bronchitis than Xiao’er Qingre Zhike oral liquids obviously.
